This is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange a release or bond, or obtain official booking records. Contact the appropriate public office directly for those matters.
Shawano County Record Routes
Start with the office that made or holds the record. The Shawano County Sheriff's Office is the county booking-record route, while the Jail is the local custody contact. Neither the County nor the Jail has a published public roster or booking feed.

Where a Question Belongs
Different public systems cover different stages. The following routes help keep a city incident, a county booking, and a later court case separate.
- For current county-custody direction, call the Jail or use Wisconsin VINE for status notifications.
- For an existing Sheriff booking record, use the Sheriff's records email or administration number.
- For a City of Shawano police-created report, use the City Police open-records route.
- For a public court file or certified-copy question, contact the Clerk of Circuit Court, 311 N. Main St., Room 206, Shawano, WI 54166, 715-526-9347, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- For a sentenced Wisconsin DOC person, use the WI DOC Locator; it is not a County Jail roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP locator or ICE detainee locator only when that custody system applies.
For an emergency, call 911. The Sheriff's tip email is not monitored at all hours.
